Prior to even submitting a planning application a significant amount of information needs to be collected. Time and money needs to be budgeted for this process. I have attempted to pull together a flow chart of the process from first principles for my own reference as much as anything else – Please don’t consider it to be an exhaustive reference – it only deals with local and major applications in Scotland.
